How to take Screenshots in Windows:
• In Pc or Monitor
Use Print Screen SysRq – key on the keyboard to grab the entire screen and copied to the clipboard
• In Laptops
Use fn + Print Screen – keys on the keyboard to take screenshot of entire screen and copy it to the clipboard
• Want to take the screenshot of single active window, just use the combination of keys – Alt + Print Screen
To paste the copied screenshots into any document always use the combination of keys – Ctrl +V
Tool used to take screenshots in Windows:
Snipping Tool is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 Core. This tool helps us to take the screenshot of our device’s screen. How to take Screenshots in Mac:
Use Command+ Shift + 3 – Keys on the keyboard to grab the entire screen and save it as a file on the desktop.
Use Command+ Shift + 4 – keys on the keyboard to capture a specific area of the screen. Use mouse and draw a rectangle on the area you want to capture or press the spacebar + click on the area you would like to capture. Mac will save it as a file on the desktop.
Use Command + Shift + Control + # – Use 3 or 4 in place of # . Used to save image in a clipboard instead of saving as a file on the desktop.
Once you have captured a screenshot they are ready to be used:
• Drag them directly to the applications.
• Attach them with an Email.
• Upload them to the Web.

Mac introduced a software application known as Grab that is used to take screenshot without using keyboard shortcuts.
