This story tells us that we should think twice before speaking and should be careful in choosing words as spoken words can not be retrieved. Once there were two good friend living in a village, they were neighbours also, not only friends. Harry was a farmer and Bill was a shopkeeper. One morning, they are moving to there jobs and talking about the village. During talk Bill insulted Harry and not even realized at that moment and Harry also not show how much bad he feel. Whole day Bill thinking that something wrong had happened and he realizing his mistake. Next morning, he went to the Harry to ask for forgiveness. Harry told him that he would forgive him on one condition. Bill said that I can do anything for your forgiveness. Harry asked him to take a bag of feathers and drop them in the center of village. Bill did the same as he was told. Then he went to the Harry’s home. Harry asked him to go to the the place again and collect the feathers that he dropped and put them back in the bag. Bill went there and tried a lot but he could not as feathers had all blown away. When he returned with the empty bag, Harry said, “The same thing is true about your words. You dropped them rather easily but you cannot retrieve them, so be very careful in choosing your words.”
Moral of the Story Spoken Words Can Not Be Retrieved :
Think twice and always be careful in choosing words before speaking, as spoken words can not be retrieved once it had spoken.
